The mesh grilles are included in the hood to allow better airflow into the engine compartment.
Functional Heat Extractor
The MP Concepts GT350 Style Mustang Aluminium Hood comes with a large center heat extractor vent. This improves the airflow into the engine compartment. This center vent comes with a mesh grille that keeps the temperature under the hood in check by allowing the heated air to easily exit from the engine compartment. This gives your Mustang a functional advantage while also giving a bold new look.
Lightweight Aluminium Construction
The MP Concepts GT350 Style Mustang Aluminium Hood is designed using the original OEM CAD data from Ford. The Aluminium used for the construction gives the hood better strength and higher durability while keeping it lightweight. The hood is given a black e-coat finish to provide protection from rust and corrosion during shipping.
Direct Fit, Bolt-on Replacement
The MP Concepts GT350 Style Mustang Aluminium Hood is a direct fit replacement for your factory hood as it utilizes the OEM latches and hinges on your Mustang.
Ships Unpainted
As this hood is shipped unpainted, it will require prep, primer and paint prior to installation which can be completed from your local shop. Please check with your local shop for pricing estimates. It is recommended that you test fit the product before it is painted.
Fits 2018-2023 EcoBoost and GT Mustangs
The MP Concepts GT500 Style Mustang Aluminium Hood can be fitted on the 2018-2023 EcoBoost and GT Mustangs. Please note that this hood does not fit GT350 Models.
