The new JMS PowerMAX® SparkMAX V2 Ignition System Voltage Booster features exclusive JMS digital technology and is designed to provide up to an 85% increase in ignition voltage.
The JMS PowerMAX® SparkMAX V2 provides the highest continuous voltage and amperage output without noise, and offers up to 31 volts of output, while supporting both coil-on-plug and traditional single coil applications. This easy to use in-line device combines the highest maximum continuous amperage and voltage available in an ignition-boosting product. The extended benefits of increased spark and voltage include: completely eliminating spark blowout in supercharged or turbocharged applications, and improving power and fuel-economy by allowing a wider spark plug gap to be used to maximize performance.
PowerMAX® SparkMAX V2 has two user selectable maximum output voltage ranges, either 25 or 31 volts. Output voltage is controlled by a simple adjustment on the device or via the optional remote-mounted control knob. You can also control the voltage ramp-in and ramp-out rate to maximize performance and spark delivery. The device has a continuous output rating of 31 amps, and will operate with an input voltage between 9.5 and 19 volts DC. It also has the lowest voltage drop on the market at 0.05 volts.
The recently updated PowerMAX® SparkMAX V2 has an all new proprietary enclosure and industrial heat sink, featuring 10 gauge heavy-duty wiring and 40-amp fuse along with a host of new and innovative features to further improve the user experience. JMS is the only company to offer user-adjustable voltage ramp in and ramp out rates, allows for maximum control over the ramp-rates. Depending upon device type or model, voltage can be controlled via time, boost pressure or a monitored voltage, and it’s easy to setup via simple to use knobs and switches.
JMS PowerMAX® SparkMAX V2 Ignition Voltage Booster Kits are shipped complete with everything you need for installation. Included in the kits; PowerMAX® SparkMAX V2 device, heavy-duty OEM-grade wiring harness, user adjustable Hobbs pressure switch, 1/8″ NPT adaptor fitting, wiring terminals, wire splices and heat shrink, solder, vacuum line and tees, mounting hardware, and 40 amp fuse. Internal boost kits include vacuum line, and the plug and play pedal position sensor kits include a pre-engineered harness with OEM-type connectors.
